Tonight at work was so sad an elderly man came in unresponsive sadly he had passed in the car while on his way to the hospital his wife was driving him. As security i not only deal with drunks or violent people but im also an ear or shoulder to the people who need it this night was the first night I’ve ever had to be the ear for this sweet woman. She told me where they first met their first date their first child their entire life story it truly was beautiful. Before this man passed he told his wife in the car that he had always loved her and will always love her and that he’d be waiting for her on the other side. It was so hard to keep it together when the woman’s family came to be with her i went outside and fell apart just so many feelings now so much hurt. It truly is amazing how two people can love for so long and in the final seconds of ones life turn to the other and in the most purest of moments say i love you.
